Rule of thumb for hammocks :
The wider the surface of a hammock the greater it comfort.
Hint:
For a grown-up a hammock should never be less than 140 cm wide.
Useful information:
In this context a lot of hammock suppliers talk about XXL or king-size hammocks. La Siesta consider a hammock of 140 cm width the absolute minimum for adults. Hammocks smaller than this are considered by La Siesta children`s hammocks.
The following applies to grown-ups:
100-130 cm width: small hammock, not recommended for grown-ups.
140-150 cm of width: nice for one person, not really generous for 2 persons.
160-185 cm of width: great for one or two grown-ups or even a family.
